OUR SPA

Nestled between forest and lake, Spa Maison O’Brien is a haven of natural relaxation on the shores of Meech Lake. Your wellness moment on the shores of Meech Lake

Between forest and lake, on the edge of Meech Lake, our spa invites you to connect with nature. Century-old trees watch over the shimmering waters, and the scent of pine envelops you, creating an atmosphere that encourages letting go. Here, nature is not a backdrop. It is a living force in the service of well-being, soothing the mind, releasing tension, and centering the breath, in the heart of Gatineau Park.

Thermal cycle: A Nordic inspiration

Inspired by Nordic principles, the thermal cycle alternates heat, cold, and rest to support circulation, toxin elimination, and deep relaxation. To maximize its benefits, it is recommended to repeat the ritual three times. Each step promotes a mind-body balance and a lasting sense of well-being.

The three steps of the ritual

Hot

Prepare your body for deep relaxation and open your pores. Enjoy the thermal areas at your own pace.

Cold

Tones the body, stimulates the immune system, and revives the mind. Choose a brief, controlled immersion.

Recovery

Allow the body to regain its balance. Breathe slowly, hydrate, and rest in complete tranquility.

Tips for an optimal experience

  1. Progress at your own pace and listen to your body.
  2. Prioritize hydration between cycles.
  3. Alternate indoors and outdoors for an even more complete immersion in nature.
